Improved aerodynamic performance results in Easton's wind tunnel show that the low drag is equal to or better than the top wheels from other manufacturers. The spoke split on the EC90 TT wheels is 12 on the front, 16 on the rear and the wheel runs on ceramic bearings. There are both Shimano and Campagnolo specific sets available.

The EC90 SL uses ceramic bearings with tool free adjustment and has compatibility with Shimano, Campagnolo and SRAM cassette bodies. Spoke count is 18 radial on the front and 24 on the rear, radial on the non-drive side and one cross on the drive side.
It's available in tubular and clincher versions which have the same component specifications. The clinchers are particularly designed to be extremely tough with a single process rim manufacture to give extremely high impact resistance.
Wheelset weight for the Easton EC90 SL is 1232g for the tubular and 1460g for the clincher.
